Nexus, formed by composer/saxophonist Gabriel Sundy, is a San Diego based band that performs music comparable to the jazz- fusion and progressive rock of the 1960’s and 70’s. The music of Nexus is a synthesis of psychedelic and prog rock elements, fused with improvisation and harmony that are characteristic of music from modern jazz traditions.
