Not much is known about this label but one thing's for sure is that they've got a good ear for obscure and experimental Funk music from their region! "Funky Chicken: Belgian Grooves From The 70's Part 1" revives the music of artists known within digging and places each of their unique sounds and cultures into a melting pot for one colorful spectrum of Funk. Hear music by the Dilla-sampled Rene Costy, the summer Latin groove of Chakachas, flute Funk by Placebo saxophonist Alex Scorier, laid-back Soul by Chicken Curry & His Pop Percussion Orchestra and more treats.

Available on gatefold 2XLP vinyl and CD in two volumes here at Juno Records.
