"Born Andrew Phillip Flores, the older son of two Filipino immigrants, Drew Kid began piano study at six years of age. After discovering the music of Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder in middle school, he began to take piano more seriously. Drew found himself immersed in a new world of music, later finding the jazz ensemble at his high school to be the highlight of his week. Some 4+ years after entering college, Drew obtained a performance degree and the rest is still unfolding.

Drew is currently a member of the Capital Focus Jazz Band, Thad Wilson Jazz Orchestra, Joe Brotherton Quintet, and Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra.

Drew has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Butch Warren, Dick Hyman, Wycliffe Gordon, Tom Williams, Kris Funn, and Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey. He has recorded on albums by DTMD, Drew Dave, Dunc, yU, The 1978ers, ACME, Aaron 'Ab' Abernathy, Carusoe, the Capital Focus Jazz Band, and the Thad Wilson Jazz Orchestra. He continues to write, arrange, and produce original music and is steadily at work on a new solo album due mid-2016."
