Hip Hop Dawn is about Martin Jones, a man who almost single handedly documented the rise of Hip Hop in the Midlands in the 1980s, and later went on to manage Goldie.

The documentary is about his hidden archive of photographs and video footage from the mid 80s captured while he was a social worker, where he inadvertently documented the birth of hip-hop in the midlands through his work, and the rise of some of the UKs future stars, such as Goldie and Robert Del Naja.

Enjoy a cool flashback to The Golden Era of Hip Hop through video and photographs in this mini-doc, plus an extensive compilation of classic UK Hip Hop courtesy of Sentinal below.
