The Brotet Pay Homage To Greats Of Japanese Jazz Fusion On Their Debut

If you’re a long time reader at cratesofjr, you may have enjoyed the neck-snapping Dilla-inspired sound of producer/pianist JBird. Now in 2018, he teams up with his bros and gets jazzy as The Brotet. Enjoy a couple tunes from their forthcoming debut album as they pay tribute to Japanese Jazz greats. J’s graceful touch on keys carries the upbeat sound of “Shiki No Uta” and lends a somber vibe to”Toki No Kioku”.
