“Dutch Robinson is in the R&B Hall of Fame in Detroit. He has written or co-written for artists such as Nancy Wilson, Curtis Mayfield, Melba Moore, Millie Jackson, The Ohio Players, Hall and Oats, Wilson Pickett, and many others. Dutch has also performed on about 15 releases by other artists over the years. Having made his home in Canada now for many decades, he has also written for and recorded with hip, young artists such as Classified, Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony, and Mad Child from Swollen Members.
With 'At Last' being his first true jazz release, he thought it would be good to play with some other veteran Vancouver jazz musicians like Michael Creber, Lorne Kellett, Cameron Hood, Rob Neumann, Scott Verbeek and many others. This will be his 3rd solo release, with a 4th already in the wings. This album is an eclectic mix of new arrangements of some old standards and pop tunes, as well as two totally new songs by Dutch.”
