On this rare single by Sons Of Sam, revisit a cool period of Hip Hop where MCs weren't afraid to poke fun at themselves. "Oooh He Got An Afro" borrows a quote by Large Pro to inspire the youthful charisma of this very fun Hip Hop song. Sons Of Sam consists of the MC known as Xav, whose rap interest began in 1986 after hearing Rakim's Check out My Melody. 

His 2020 release "The Black Duke" is a revisit to Xav's throwback style, featuring production by Large Professor, Lord Finesse/The Bossmen and Nottz. Guests on the mic are AG, EDO G, Kingsley Ibeneche & Omar lye-Fook.
