After nearly 40 years, the great Flying Dutchman Records is set to return with the March 17 release of 'Billy Valentine & The Universal Truth'. Listen To Valentine’s cool take on Gil-Scott Heron’s “Home Is Where The Hatred Is”. Featuring drumming legend James Gadsen, bass great Pino Palladino, Jeff Parker & Larry Goldings. BGP Records Inks Deal With Flying Dutchman, Releases Remasters, Limited 7"s & SuperFunk


As British label BGP reaches their 25th birthday, they announce a deal with the Flying Dutchman label: Bob Thiele’s label from the early 70s that launched the careers of Gil Scott-Heron, Leon Thomas and Lonnie Liston Smith, as well as important records by Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and others.
