Larue is scheduled to release the D/WIll-produced "Diem", in March 2012. "Diem" is the follow-up to their 2010 EP, "Carpe".
This track flows with plenty of soul and emotion as J. Rawls incorporates ideas of traditional Jazz into the sound of Hip Hop. This is the type of music that might make you wonder what the creative atmosphere of the studio session was like. De La fans should recognize the interpolation of a tune from "Stakes Is High" which was masterfully executed by Rawls' band which adds an extra element of Dilla nostalgia to this great tribute.
