First up is Spinna's version of Prince's 'Starfish & Coffee' which has now become 'Maple Syrup Jam'. This musical moment is nothing short of sweet as Spinna mashes two classics that go together like peanut butter and jelly. J Rocc follows up with 'Re Purple Music', which transforms Prince's music into an outstanding dose of Disco-Funk.
This week's guest on Pensado's Place and J Rocc's Adventures In Stereo is Producer and DJ Battlecat! Battlecat is well known for producing iconic artists such as Snoop Dogg, Tupac, and The Game along with a number of other West Coast rappers. Both interviews reveal many interesting aspects behind Battlecat's signature sound, one from a DJ perspective and the other from an engineering/producer's perspective.
