Prepare to lift off as Martin Blockson proceeds to take flight by drawing from the carefree and uplifting essence of Yacht Rock music. Like Michael McDonald but that much more soulful, Martin's voice expresses happiness and a desire to love life. Enjoy some romantic songwriting that stands up there with the best of them from the 80's.

Below, DJ Jazzy Jeff & DJ Scratch also show their love for this great genre of music in a 3.5 hour set.

Envision a romantic night mood and atmosphere as Jazz saxophonist Martin Blackson sings "The Night Was Made For Us". Driven by Bossa rhythm in a smooth Jazz composition driven by great vocal arrangements and a nice touch of sax makes this song a trip to paradise. From Martin's 2014 LP "Odyssey VII".
