Collectors Item - Music, Art and Life: Mobb Deep
Hear Matt Fingaz, Mobb Deep, Kool G Rap & Nottz Talk That Street Talk

The Chop Shop Music Production Podcast present a rare unreleased song by Matt Fingaz "Talking To You", featuring Kool G. Rap and the late great Prodigy of Mobb Deep. Enjoy a never heard, unreleased verse from both Prodigy & Kool G. Rap who talk that NYC street talk with Nottz Raw on production.

Below, Havoc is the hardcore composer of sinister and grimy Hip Hop production on "Beats Collection Vol. 1 & 2". Plus, my favorite song off that new Mobb album "Infinite" and a classic clip from '94 of Havoc and Prodigy fresh off the release of "The Infamous".

You can catch Mobb Deep performing at a U.S. city near you for the winter of 2025. Get your tickets here at Ticketnetwork.

Get Your Mobb Deep Promo Stickers As Smif 'N Wessun Experience The Trife Life Of Bucktown

Here at my eBay storefront you'll find a few rare promo stickers from "The Infamous" and "Hell On Earth" along with some other treats. These stickers are the perfect addition to your vinyl record sleeve, record shelf, drum machine etc. As if that wasn't enough, DJ Keytronikz gives us a gem of a remix in the Mobb Deep/Smif 'N Wessun blend of "Bucktown".

As students of the infamous Printing school in lower Manhattan, Havoc, Prodigy, Tek and Steele each share a common ground. That commonality is evident in this remix as The Mobb sound fits like hand-to-glove with the gun clapping sound of Bucktown.

Big Noyd of Mobb Deep Revisits His Underground Gems on "The Co-Defendants Vol. 2"

Catch up on songs released by the un-official 3rd member of The Mobb. "The Co-Defendants Vol. 2" brings together the drama Big Noyd's songs and collaborations released over about a 20-year period. Whether or not you've heard these before, it's a nice revisit to an unmistakable sound, identity and era of NYC. Noyd and his collaborators bang with the darkest of Hip Hop beats and harsh visions of the streets. DJ Nes provides even more nostalgia below with a tape of Prodigy and Noyd's appearance on Future Flavas radio.

The Sound Of The Bridge Lives On With Mobb Deep's "A Hell Of Instrumentals"

This is one hell of a head-nod as you press play on a collection of The Mobb's greatest beats. If you've been wondering what some of their classic album cuts sound in instrumental form, here it is. Many of these gems are available on indie and commercial vinyl releases of the past. However, "A Hell Of Instrumentals" gives opportunity for those who aren't super diggers to enjoy these classic Mobb beats. "It's da reaaaal.. Hip Hop.."

The label known as Muzik present one hell of a collector's item with this black double-LP release, dropping February 24th 2024.

Mobb Deep Interview & Freestyle During Their Promo Run of "Infamy"

Revisit The Mobb at their most infamous as they visit Hot 97 and WNYU radio during the promo run for their 5th album. Havoc and Prodigy bring "Infamy" to the New York City airwaves in these two recordings made straight from my tape deck. One is a chat with Angie Martinez and the other Capital P takes a moment to rhyme over one of M.O.P.'s most infamous beats.

The 20th Anniversary 2xLP colored vinyl reissue of "Infamy" now available here at eBay.
