The Underground Railroad has a long history with DJ Spinna from his days in heating up the turntables as a regular DJ on their show in the 90's. After a hiatus in releases, Spinna returns with his Jigmastas partner Kriminul to celebrate the duo's 2014 reunion. After dropping a nice set of female Soul acts associated with the great James Brown, Jay Smooth and the crew interview with Jigmastas live in the studio, play classic music from the duo, talk about their history and the upcoming LP "Resurgence".
Canadian illustrator Nelson Dedos Garcia exaggerates the Hip Hop essence and persona of great artists who made their mark on the culture during the late 1980's. This gallery of artwork should make any die-hard Hip Hop head crack a smile as Nelson uses digital art to visualize The Golden Era in a humorous way that you might see in a cartoon or animated movie.
