"The Playlist Challenge is a marquee event of the annual Playlist Retreat. Every year, artists are tasked with working together to make music in the most unconventional ways. This year’s challenge: 80 artists, randomly assigned to 18 teams, have 24 hours to create their best song using a hidden flash drive of mystery content. Armed with instruments, equipment and one clue, each team scours the Playlist Retreat campgrounds in search of their flash drive of sounds before embarking on a session like no other. When it comes how music is made, The Playlist Challenge aims to disrupt the status quo.
