"This Love," the title of Darnell's long awaited debut CD was well worth the wait.

This is a must buy CD which will have the listener playing each song over and over and over again." - darnellwhite.com/music
Bio:
Darnell White was born in Los Angeles into an extremely musical family.
During the 80's and 90's Darnell wrote and composed for the maestro Barry White. Two of Darnell's songs, "Strange" and "My Fantasies' were on Barry's album, The Love Unlimited Orchestra Presents Mr. Webster Lewis. Darnell also wrote "Tell Me Who Do You Love" on Barry's album "Beware."
Darnell also wrote the smooth and romantic "Your What's on My Mind" for Barry White and played the spiraling flute solo at the introduction of the song over Barry's rap.
The love for music is real as Darnell White and Chuckii Booker pay tribute to one of the greats of Soul music in a smooth duet of flute and vocals. "Mr. Marvin" mirrors the laid-back essence of Soul which Marvin Gaye is known as a rich bed of percussion thumps along to support an arrangement which is reflective, uplifting and evokes a sense of inner city blues. With Chuckii on vocals who merges his signature sound with the nuances of Marvin's beautifully alongside his uncle Darnell's cool flute performance, this song begs for the return of an American Soul legend through the magic touch of two accomplished musicians.
