Let your imagination run free and ascend to the majestic sound of Brian McDonald, an award-winning composer who translates delight, curiosity, suspense, victory and more into themes which are other-worldly and speak to the mind's desire to dream.

Born in California, Brian spent his childhood in Germany, where he had the fortune of studying for many years with concert pianist/composer Johann Franz. Through classical music beginnings to his cinematic orchestral and electronic works, Brian developed a solid reputation in the music industry as an inventive, agile, and creative composer, songwriter and producer.

Having written & recorded solo albums for CBS/Sony Records, MTM Records (Germany), Atenzia Records (Sweden), King Records (Japan) and others in the past, Brian got his writing career start as a songwriter for A&M’s publishing company in the late 1980’s. Through his work as a writer, Brian was signed as a solo artist to CBS/Sony. Prior to this, Brian was the front man and keyboardist for rock groups Dillinger and BMG.

Capturing an obscure sub-genre of music and reviving it in 2014, Alex Puddu draws inspiration from the 1970's adult films of Denmark for the 10-track ride of "The Golden Age Of Danish Pornography Vol. 2".  As a composer, Alex controls the emotional and cinematic aspects of the listening experience with a rich fusion of funky music.

While the overall direction of The Golden Age draws inspiration from adult film, this project entertains and provides a strong edge in the form of Funk no matter what perspective you are hearing it from, thanks to the execution and imagination of Alex Puddu.

Composer Alex Puddu sets a mysterious vibe with the slow-grooving cinematic Funk of "Alta Tensione 3 am". This instrumental composition builds with intensity in the form of 70's Library-style music beginning with the introduction of a bass groove which progresses into a rise of synths, Rhodes keys, organ and horn. Once all is said and done, Alex demonstrates his ability to take control of the emotions as an arranger with music to take your mind on a trip.

David and Bacharach were honored by President Obama as "two kings of songwriting" and were presented the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, the nation's highest prize for popular music.
