"Literally my first mixtape in 5 years!!! I've been wanting to put this baby together for so damn long now and i'm glad th at i finally found the time to do it! :-)

So, what can you expect? A mixtape full of my favorite New Jack Swing gems which are connected to personal fond memories and therefore have remained in my playlist ever since. Some tracks you may already know, some you may have slept on or just completely forgotten about...and others you may even discover for the first time!

Either way, these are all tracks i consider pure New Jack Swing, hence the title. YES, there will most definitely be a volume 2, but give me some time...lol...until then - ENJOY THIS ONE, FOLKS!!!" - DJ Soulchild

DJ Soulchild gets inspired to bring the Funk back as B.I.G. did so cleverly throughout the Boogie-inspired sound of his posthumous album "Life After Death" by flipping a classic 80's groove by singer Lillo Thomas. This remix of "Nasty Girl" takes a cue from the funky groove and girl-chasing lyrics of Lillo's "Good Girl" for perfect blend to reinvision the ghetto fabulous vision of B.I.G. and Puff. Enjoy as one of the newest remix talents of R&B draws from the past to revive the sound of classics once again.
