Bounce to the sounds of producer Imperial as he boost your adrenaline in the name of blackness with Zeke Thomas, Public Enemy's Chuck D & Jasiri X. DJ/Producer Zeke Thomas teams up with Chuck D (Public Enemy) and Pittsburgh lyricist Jasiri X to drop the powerful and culturally-defining single “Blackness”. When he is not rocking NYC nightlife, Zeke Thomas is in the lab producing tracks that blend classic hip-hop with uplifting house undertones.
As part of the EP, UK Hip Hop producer Imperial provides a Hip Hop remix reminiscent of the golden era for which Chuck D is best known.
Imperial taps into an inspiring and uplifting sound of Soul from the crates for a remix that sings as much as it thumps on "Itzsoweezee". Showing that sample-based sound is as relevant as ever to the foundation and storytelling of Hip Hop, Imperial is a British Hip Hop Producer, signed to Illect Recordings. His production is soulful, gritty boom bap.
