Electro Jazz Fusion Band SYNC.EXE Offers The Catalyst To Your Happiness

"Catalyst with Farnell Newton and Deivid Iguaran is a First and only single from my highly anticipated Jazz fusion album known as 'Dragonfly'. After the release of Resonance, an overwhelming about of support has made me sought out to create a full length project that infused different styles of jazz with different electronic musical techniques like granulizing samples to make new pads or textures. With its groovy off beat drums and catchy melody, this single marks a new era for SYNC.EXE."

Grief Turns Into A Hopeful Acceptance on "North Star" by Tristan Cappel ft. Miguel Atwood-Ferguson

"North Star is about grief and learning to accept the things in life you cannot change. A close friend who always encouraged me to embrace the things that made me a "black sheep" died unexpectedly and tragically, sparking both the intention and the compositional material for this album. It explores the void you fall into when you stop controlling the outcome and start listening for something deeper.

Woven through that grief is the reclaiming of a long-suppressed voice. Most of the melodies were composed by singing, giving the songs a direct connection to my spirit — and to the fear of being heard.

The opening trio (Constellation, Boundaries, Chapters) reflects a new stage of life: one where I stop people-pleasing and become the fullest, most loving version of myself. Tracks 4 and 5, Black Sheep and Acceptance, are direct tributes to my friend Nicholaus Zinis and the grieving process. Tracks 6 through 8 (Redshift, Sidelines, Voidant) represent the way life changes you, spiritually exploring the void and finding your way back on the other side." - Tristan Cappel

Take Your Broken Wings & Learn To Fly on Jamar Jones's "Black Bird"

The majestic keys of pianist Jamar Jones lead the way to a better tomorrow as music made to mend a broken heart. This gem from the album "Blue Oceans" is one of many which showcases his magic touch on keys and ability to craft heartfelt songs. Like the serenity and vast space of the ocean, Jamar imagines our freedom and endless potential with each song. So spread your wings and fly to a tune that encapsulates the desire to be better than you were before.

Music Serves As The Vessel Of Life on "Expecting" by Singer Candice Hoyes

Like the comfort of the womb, "Expecting" by Candice Hoyes is soothing to the eardrum. Journey to a heavenly place on this harp-laced tune featuring Makaya McCraven and bassist Junius Paul. The three use music to envision the ultimate moment of truth and optimistic mindset of a woman. As a result, we receive an uplifting moment of music and profound expression of humanity.

Of the songs which express happiness here at the blog, this is among my favorites. For another feel-good tune in the same vein enjoy my post about "Arthur", a song which expresses the joy of infancy.
