L.O.N.S. got the classic material on this entertaining excerpt from a 1993 episode of Rap City as the group promote their 2nd album "T.I.M.E.". Watch as Charlie Brown, Milo, Dinco-D and Busta Rhymes bug out for the camera with a heap of energy and enthusiasm for life that made them stand out from other groups of the time. It's clear from their attitude that Leaders know how to make the best out of their time by enjoying the moment and having fun even though Busta appears to be on the verge of becoming irate by the end of the video.

This 22 video playlist begins with an interview of LL Cool J back in '91 then goes into more early Rap City moments featuring current legends of the culture who were then on the brink of success and stardom. Enjoy the nostaliga of Hip Hop's Golden Era from the VHS archives of a collector.
These guys might have been one of the originators of acting a fool (in a good way) in Hip Hop videos. Revisit a free-thinking period of Hip Hop back in 1991 which was filled with fun and positive vibes of personality as Leaders Of The New School kick an intro and outro freestyle performance to their video for "International Zone Coaster". This is one of many 90's Hip Hop moments where you could tell artists weren't ashamed to express themselves regardless of their limited resources or notoriety. Forget all the flashy high budget aspects of industry-based video filming, in '91 these guys main concern at the time was having fun and getting on. You can sense their enthusiasm as hungry artists who are eager to make a name for themselves and enjoy the moment. Enjoy a look at one of the earliest moments in L.O.N.S. history.
A great sophomore single by a group who managed to make fun songs which also played upon the creative side of the imagination by packing lyrics with interesting images and wordplay. Leaders of The New perform "What's Next" on MTV with an introduction by Psycho Les and Fashion of The Beatnuts.
