The towering feeling of Broadway tunes performed Big Band style receive a transformation with the Soul persona of this duo. Even if it's your first time hearing these classic songs, Ryan Shaw & Ray Angry make it a moment to remember. Their electrifying rearrangements emphasize the vision of each song and introduce a new musical identity which brims with power and grace. Such is the case with their version of "On The Street Where You Live". What was once swinging Big Band Jazz receives a powerful injection of Soul reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, The Police and Tears For Fears.

"Real Love" released on May 15, 2012 on Dynotone Records showcases the talent of Ryan Shaw as a Soul vocalist who carries the sound of his classic 60's influences into a new generation with extraordinary vocal chops and passionate performances. A few seconds of Ryan's tenor combined with authentic grooves provided by musicians such as Al Kooper and Jim Bralower are bound to inspire your mood and outlook on life as you receive pure emotion with each verse.

Ryan's contribution to Soul music is moving in it's message and dedication to the musical foundation pioneered by greats of the 60's such as Otis Redding, Sam Cooke. Drawing direct influence from a classic sound and his background as a gospel vocalist, Ryan delves deep within to express trails of love, reflection upon the past and appreciation of life through a variety of lively, upbeat dancefloor grooves and mellow ballads. Listen as the young vocalist adds his unique touch to covers by his contemporaries on "You Don't Know Nothing About Love" originally performed by gospel singer Carl Hall and "Blackmail" originally performed by Bobby Taylor.

"Real Love" is here to help re-define the sound of American Soul music by the outstanding vocals of two-time Grammy nominee Ryan Shaw.
