The clock keeps ticking but Saukrates, Pharoahe Monch & Shad remain skilled as ever as they unite their lyrical ability on the 2018 version of "Father Time". Originally dropped in '95, this beat remained in rotation on underground radio airwaves during it's release by captivating eardrums with it's mysterious sound.

As a straight-forward approach of beats, rhymes and scratches in Hip Hop, Shad's "Flawless" is my favorite from The Real Frequency's album "The New North". Shad has a youthful and intellectual tone of an MC which meshes in an interesting way with the dark and threatening production sound of Frank Dukes.

Released 3/1/2011 on Black Box Recordings/Fontana North, the "iTunes Session Ep" by Shad features a healthy dose of creative ideas in the art of lyricism from the true-to-life perspective of an emerging Canadian MC. The production is as impressive as the lyrics, varying between a jazzy mix of traditional sampling, turntable scratching and live instrumentation to compliment the personal tone Shad sets through his humble recollections of everyday life in each song.

This song is from Shad's 2010 LP T.S.O.L. on Black Box Music Original, originally produced by EOM.
