"Ready To Juxx is a re-imagination of the classic Notorious B.I.G. through the voice of Crown Heights Emcee and Sean Price protege Ruste Juxx. The album has features from Chip Fu of the Fushnickens, Brother J of X-Clan, Skyzoo, Rockness Monstah(Heltah Skeltah), Skanks (Bankai Fam), Nutso & Dirt Platoon."
Brooklyn MC Skanks uses beats and rhymes to put life in perspective, embrace the inevitable while remaining thankful for the present day on “Gone”. With Astronote on production to convey Skanks’ thoughts, the result is a head-nodding Hip Hop gem potent with food for thought. My personal favorite song from his great “New Word Order” album out now.
Playing tracks by Dom Pachino & Bronze Nazareth ft. Bugsy Da God, Rebel Diaz, William Young, Frank Knight, Lil Fame, Rock & Joshua Gunn and more.
Anywhere you follow Skanks The Rap Martyr you can count on discovering the rawest and grimiest of Hip Hop out as he sheds light upon the inner city struggle with rhymes. Check him out on "Trouble" with Endemic Emerald, a track mixed with pain, sorrow and aggression which speaks the midframe of individuals on the edge of living.
