With a long and esteemed history in providing funky music for cinema, UK music production label KPM returns in 2016 with an album of energetic and raw instrumental grooves by Brit-Funk band Speedometer. KPM describes "Downtown Funk '74" as "an authentic anthology of early 70s funk tracks – from classic funk to soul funk, Latin funk and Afro funk, featuring heavy horns and fatback drums."
For DJs and producers looking for modern Funk approved by a legendary Library music label, look no further than Speedometer's release which can be purchased on 7" vinyl single here at Juno Records and the full 80-track album as mp3 download here at Amazon.
