This song to me is the most defining of Jeru's character as an MC and musical style of any song on "The Sun Rises In The East". It's straight raw hip hop, but a step above the average from the cinematic feel it introduced through the pairing of an MC and producer who took a further reach toward bringing darker emotions in a hip hop song. I hope to see Jeru perform this in person one day.
