This one is pretty heavy for a jazz song, but when you hear the rest of the song the sound has a funk influence. I like this type of sound for a jazz song heavy on horns and drumming, brought by a collection of artists such as Phil Ranelin, Stark Reality, Idris Muhammad and artists of the Flying Dutchman label . From his 1974 album, "Shapes To Come".
