A fine musical dedication to the legacy of James "Jay Dee" Yancey by Eric Krasno, guitarist of Soulive and Lettuce. In "Song For Dilla" Eric brings a fusion of Jay Dee's unique sensibility of sound and rhythm with his own composing and guitarist talent to create a song that builds with intensity in the style of 70's rock/funk fusion. He steals the show with an electrifying guitar solo in the middle of the song as memorable tribute to one of the greatest.
