Reading this interview with Lord Finesse put a smile on my face, it's good to hear the details of how "Lifestylez Ov Da Poor And Dangerous" was made, as well as Big L's trails within the streets and the music industry. "Lifestyles" is definitely a New York album, I speak as a resident of the city. I'm not sure if it's just me or other people who have never lived here feel the same. The content brought forth by L's personal experience, comedic wit and outstanding writing talent would help create this classic album which represented the dark side of the ghetto unlike any other to date.
