This is a FAR more brassy cover version of Billy Cobham's Gangstarr sampled "Crosswind" performed by jazz big band leader and clarinetist Woody Herman. I like this sound because it has an interesting mix of 70's jazz fusion and Big Band jazz elements I never heard before with a combination of organic keyboard sound and bright horn section. Great horn sounds featured throughout the album, "Herd At Montreux" released on Bellaphon Records, 1974.
