This collector's edition is set for official release on 9.14.2010, but the pre-order is now available here at Amazon.com. The Mecca And The Soul Brother Deluxe Box Set contains bonus songs, fold-out poster, plus previously unavailable instrumentals and acapellas for a whole new listening experience of Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's 1992 classic.
As a buyer of vinyl, after years of coming across bootlegs and vinyl reissues of great bonus material from M&TSB, it is good to have this package available on crisp CD and packaging for an official release. I think the unreleased songs and b-sides hold up well against the quality of the album cuts. Thanks to Phila Flava for the heads up on this project, I look forward to picking this one up.
