Pete Rock's production is the best fit yet for the musical identity of Smif N' Wessun, adding onto the Brooklyn duo's improved lyrical abilities and matured street sense to push their individual sounds to new heights. I'm glad to hear authentic representation of the streets but also the inspirational element of prevailing, it's something people from all walks of life can relate to and a good sign of each artist's maturity.
