I never knew if the day would come when Hip Hop producers decided to flip songs from the Teddy Riley New Jack Swing Era, this is quite an interesting listen! "New Jack Kings" is a deeply inspired project about memories of love and life from two talented MCs from Michigan Vaughan T. and Illite. Each express a variety of moods inspired by personal relationships and the unique musical influence of early 90's when B.B.D., Teddy Riley, Guy and P.M. Dawn reigned supreme, creating a visual canvas of memories over reinvented New Jack Swing sound composed by a talented team of producers.

The album revolves around life, love, women and fashion as a solute to artists such as Teddy Riley, Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, New Edition and Kid n Play who made songs that everyone could relate to.

In addition to being conceptually refreshing, the album is just as musically intriguing as producers Vaughan T, 14kt, Nick Speed (G- unit), ZO!, and Forekast sample and “flip” classic new jack swing records in a way that keeps listeners engaged.
