There are few artists who can claim a whole style and aura of Hip Hop the way the Mobb has since their signature style of darkness re-defined the streets around "The Infamous" and Hell On Earth" albums. Godfather Pt. 3, one third of the Queensbridge duo Infamous Mobb gives a brief history of his introduction into Hip Hop through the harsh influences of his neighborhood surroundings and the support of Mobb Deep.

I expected to hear Godfather address the breakup of Infamous Mobb when I first viewed this interview, but fortunately there is no news to speak of. Hopefully they have reconciled their differences since Ty Nitty's breakup announcement and can continue adding onto their impressive discography as a group.

The combination of Infamous Mobb, Alchemist, Sid Roams and their affiliates remain a rare gem within the current scene of New York hip hop, a collective artists who produce a musical street cinema which is socially relevant, musically competitive and influential as an authentic voice of the ghetto experience.
