This instrumental by Elaquent has a nice, laid-back kinda vibe with nice layering and progression, he has a unique way of creating progression through synths and samples against head-nodding drum grooves. It is one of my favorites off his instrumental project "Oldies", available for download here.
"The Midnight After" takes a few steps forward from "Oldies"by showing even more of Elaquent's imagination as a producer for a collection of instrumentals which carry a sound of new wave, Jazz-influenced Hip Hop fusion with creative use of effects and original sound selection.
