I knew it was about to be serious when these two dropped albums around the same period in 1994. Gotta thank Def Jam for using their promotional power to bring the unforgiving street persona, dark imagery and music of Redman and Method Man to the masses, showing that the true nature of the underground can be marketable as Hip Hop.
Reggie takes up most of the time in this interview, which is actually more of a wild rant due to his seemingly intoxicated state. He definitely had more entertaining moments than before during this time, having buried himself to the neck on the front of his album. Meth talks briefly about the real life situation that inspired the bus scene in his video for "Bring The Pain". Both of them seem energetic and ready to take on the world with their albums as fresh talent emerging from the ghetto.
