Oddisee provides a strong dose of soul on the boards for DMV MC Kingpen Slim who envisions a tale of a ghetto enforcer who's life seems to end as quickly as it began on "Sad". This is one of many tragic stories from the Washington D.C. crack epidemic, an era which changed many lives of their inner city residents. Kingpen's writing on "Sad" is intriguing, emotional and visual as he effectively builds the tension from beginning to a climatic end.
