45 Presents "Stop! Look! Listen!"

"Stop! Look! Listen!" is a diverse music project which blends elements of jazz, soul and hip-hop to produce a fine set of vibrant and cheerful tunes. 45 uses his skillset as a producer to put a futuristic spin on music which borrows influence from the sounds of the 70's, making the brand new compositions sound fresh but somehow familiar. "Stop! Look! Listen!" pays homage to great musicians such as Ramsey Lewis, the Mizell Brothers, Roy Ayers and Young-Holt Unlimited. The cover of Lonnie Liston Smith's Jazz fusion masterpiece "Expansions" is one of the standouts on this project as 45 adds a female vocalist and funky drumming for a more upbeat version of the original.
