"Sun Ya" defines the meaning of "groove" as Bennetrhodes craft uplifting music based on an electrified fusion of Funk, Jazz and Hip Hop. Each track relies heavily upon it's own distinct rhythm as the foremost element, drawing inspiration from 80's boogie, Jazz and occasionally J-Dilla's signature drumming influence. Combine that with traditional musical elements as pianist Kan Sano displays his talent on the keys throughout each track and you get one of the most ambitious presentations of fusion music in 2012.
