Re:Freshed Orchestra Presents J-Dilla360, A 2 Hour Tribute Performance

The heights of musical inspiration and expression reach new exciting levels as the Rotterdam-based Re:Freshed Orchestra pay tribute to the late J Dilla's legacy. Enjoy 2 hours of moving compositions as the approach of a legendary beatmaker and contemporary orchestra combine.

Re:Freshed Orchestra is the brain child of Sigmar Vriesde, Alexander van Popta and Furlan Felter and is supported by Podium Grounds (Rotterdam).

The orchestra is full of talented musicians who play different Dutch bands. Also are there classical musicians/students or graduates from the international conservatory: " CODARTS" in the Orchestra. The musical approach of this project is to create great music with young people with different musical educational background.

Some have buillt on their talent from scratch and some from attending a special musical education. The base of this project is controlled chaos, experimental and creating from a joint passion of great music. The performances end up being unique one time only performances which have a jam session feel.

Next to these musicians aree guest musicians/ singers or rappers to join the performance. The orchestra plays some of their repertoire or a set of songs in a special theme. But they always do it different from the original which challenges the guest musicians with a new way of looking toward their own music.
