Price builds with his people in an effort to uplift by highlighting great achievements and providing a path towards social prevail on "Dear N***a". The deeply-inspired writing comes from years of viewing both negative and positive aspects of society, as Price takes a determined stance as a lyricist to open the ears and eyes of Black America with messages of hope, confidence and leadership values. Although the word nigga which he uses to address his people is a historically negative one, Hip Hop has used the word in a positive and casual light as demonstrated by minorities from one another in society, in popular culture and in the writing of this song.
