Opening for such acts as Betty Wright, Dwele, Patti Labelle, Dougy Fresh, The Whispers, and Enchantment, AB is fresh and versatile.


When you grow it in a household where the record needle never collects dust, it's only right to dedicate your life to the art. Ab made up his mind to walk this musical path in his early years, developing a love for the piano and a nact for playing his favorite radio songs-- by ear.

Before you knew it, Ab was participating in the musical ministry at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH. As the head musical coordinator for the Annual Easter Program, Ab re-energized the program through unique vocal and instrumental arrangements. His dedication to challenge himself and others in music was evident then, and served as the first sign for things to come.

Once Ab landed in Washington, D.C. to pursue a degree in Music, from Howard University, the focus to excel in the art was undeniable. Inspired by Sly and the Family Stone, Rufus and Chaka Khan, Shuggie Otis, L.T.D, The JB's, and the Ohio Players, Ab began to hone his eclectic sound and performance, which has been experienced by the DC metropolitan area for the past years.

Selling his demo on Howard University's campus generated a buzz. Due to the significant number of units sold, Ab gathered the interest of artists and labels on the East Coast. Demonstrating an array of talent, Ab's music intertwines powerful lyrics with jazz, blues, hip-hop, and soul thus, producing a new generation of extraordinary sound. Still in search of the right business marriage, Ab vows to keep the music pure, unique, entertaining, and uncompromising: the only way he knows it. Hence, Ab is a name we will hear often in the near future.
