Ten tracks are the result of an incredible musical movement by a Soweto nightclub who managed to get funky during the height of Apartheid. "One Night in Pelican" is presented by Matsuli Music in a gatefold double vinyl edition with printed inner sleeves. Cover artwork by Zulu Bidi of Batsumi fame plus unseen photographs, and liner notes by Kwanele Sosibo. There is also interviews with key musicians, players and a former president of South Africa. For Funk fans who enjoy vibing out to obscure instrumental projects, this one is a must-listen.
