During the early-90's, Uptown Comedy Club was the place to be if you wanted to witness classic Hip Hop in the flesh. It was an intimate setting of performers who were up close to the audience which made a performance atmosphere like none other. Plus, it was a time where back-to-back classics were being released in record stores, then performed on this stage. Then if you wanted to laugh, you could catch newcomers who would soon be greats of comedy such as Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock and Chris Tucker.
