This song by Mercy , Mercy is another one of the great examples of 80's R&B to emerge from the U.K., a song which is a bit overlooked so I thought I'd share it here who never had the opportunity to hear the great sounds. "What Are We Gonna Do About It?" brings many of the smooth signature sounds which place U.K. 80's R&B artists in a category of their own, through memorable song writing about love over outstanding vocal parts and synth-based, funk instrumentation. The song flows with a feeling of escapism but a level of energy and rhythm to make you move at the same time, the bass guitar groove is great throughout. This is the type of song which stands out among other genres of music I listen to as the best definitions of a party groove.
