Nick Manson Pays Tribute To Jeff Lorber Fusion On "Clown Feet"

As much as pianist/keyboardist Nick Manson loves playing straight ahead jazz, he is very much in love with the instrumental sounds of the '70s by musicians such as Tom Scott, Jazz Crusader, Victor Feldman, Jeff Lorber, George Duke, Joe Farrell and John Klemmer. "Clown Feet" is a beautiful homage "to the Lorber tunes of the late 70's when the heads were typically all doubled by a Fender Rhodes or synth with flute, soprano or tenor sax" says the two time Emmy Award winning multifaceted pianist.

"Clown Feet" is available on his 2008 full length album, "Lost, But Not Forgotten", listen to snippets of the album below at iTunes.
