Kirk Whalum brings smooth Jazz vibes on his 19th solo album "Romantic Language". The first single which is a cover of Eric Benet's "Spend My Life With You" display's Kirk's soulful approach to romantic Jazz combining smooth sax and organ solos for a slight 70's fusion sound, while the rest of "Romantic Language" leans towards the 60's Jazz music vibe of John Coltrane & Johhny Hartman.
