The Los Angeles trio of multi-talents known as Moonchild soothe with the sound of music while stepping towards a redefined vibe which fuses sounds of Jazz and R&B. Amber Nevran, Adris Mattson and Max Bryx excite with a fresh musical direction as they "aim to bring a new sound to the neo-soul genre while drawing upon other influences such as Erykah Badu, Bon Iver, John Coltrane and D'Angelo." The unique musical character of "Be Free" features a mellow mix of Jazz instrumentation paired with the essence of R&B rhythms and beautiful vocals with a touch of Hip Hop, providing feelings of relaxation throughout. This is definite mood music, setting a laid-back vibe which begs for a nighttime listen at home as illustrated by the cover art and the name of the band.
