In tribute to the talent and diversity of George Duke as a keyboard pioneer, composer, singer and producer who continues to inspire other great works of music, here are a few moments where his musical touch shined in the work of artists of the new millennium.

Coobee taps into the perfect vibe for his remix of Large Professor's "Party Time" as he uses the upbeat party groove of "Reach Out" by George Duke to make you dance.

Brazilian musician Kabas brings the Funk in his bass cover of "It's On" by George Duke, Lee Ritenour, Marcus Miller. This is actually more of a tribute to Marcus Miller's approach on bass but overall the cover also demonstrates the funky playing on Rhodes keys which George is known for in collaborating with some of Jazz music's best to create timeless grooves.

YóBassa start off smooth then take you for a journey of energetic Brazilian rhythm on their cover of "Brazilian Love Affair". The voice of the lead vocalist is beautiful and inspiring as she brings a soothing balance of emotion to upbeat instrumentation.

The father and son team of HHJ Band bring an inviting vibe in their cover of George Duke and Stanley Clarke's 1981 love ballad "Sweet Baby". With Harold Sr. as songwriter, bassist and keyboardist, Harold Jr. on keyboards and Josh on drums and percussion the trio show their appreciation by evoking a distinct sound of love song from George Duke's 1980's discography. There's more good music where that came from here at HHJ's Soundcloud page.
