The Sure Fire Soul Ensemble make a powerful debut with their 7" 45rpm vinyl single, featuring the funky Meters-inspired sound of "Layin' Low" and the slow grooving, Hammond organ Soul of "IB Struttin'". With ear-opening breakdowns, heavy bass and exciting arrangements in a melting pot of funky music, this California band is sure to catch the ears of modern day listeners who love the sound of acts such as Jimmy McGriff, The Meters, Isaac Hayes, and The Poets of Rhythm.
