Leon Sylvers III of the 70's Soul group the Sylvers is known for his contributions an super-producer for Dick Griffey's powerhouse label Solar Records. In creating timeless songs for groups such as Gladys Knight's "Save The Overtime", Dynasty's "I've Just Begun To Love You", Shalamar's "I Don't Want To be The Last To Know", Carrie Lucas's "Show Me Where Your Coming From" and The Whispers' "And The Beat Goes On", his rich, vibrant and melodic grooves stand out amongst the greats to project feelings which inspire love of life. Leon is still active and remains one of the most influential producers to emerge from Solar's memorable run of hits in the 1980's. 

In a 2013 interview with DJ Mel Entertainment Radio, both Leon and Walt & Scotty Scott of The Whispers come together to reflect on their career and greatness of their former label in a Solar Records reunion.
